Aaron Stewart

After studying harp and piano for several years, Aaron Stewart developed a fascination with the big and beautiful sound of the organ. He began taking lessons with Christian Lane in the Fall of 2018 and now practices regularly at the All Saints Church near his home in Brookline. When not playing one of his instruments, Aaron likes to compose in baroque and classical styles. A seventh-grader at the Runkle School, he participates in a composition seminar at the New England Conservatory. In 2019, he was awarded a Young Organists Initiative Scholarship. In the same year, he placed Fifth in the National Finals of the American Harp Society Junior Division competition in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He has collected several awards for piano playing, and his top marks in the Royal Conservatory of Music examinations recently earned him an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall.
